“Look Sokka, you’re going to fail a lot before things work out. Even though you’ll probably fail over and over and over again, you have to try every time. You can’t quit because you’re afraid you might fail.”
and the sun, it does not cause us to grow
it is the rain that will strengthen your soul
and it will make you whole
Have I mentioned I really like Avatar…?
that burn is so bad you’re gonna need a 3 year journey to regain your honor
Odd photoset but I’m trying to decide which hair style to go with for my Female Zuko cosplay I’ll be doing at SDCC. I’ll be borrowing my friend Ash’s Zuko cosplay but I’ll be doing a female version since I cannot pass for male and look super awkward when trying.
ANYWAY…. Top two photos are from when I derped around a few months back, my real hair is on the left and a black wig on the right. Bottom left is obviously my Sasha cosplay with my wig pulled back in a ponytail, and the photo next to it is the same wig with the ponytail clip off and the base wig down(and my face all blah because I feel like shit rn)
Not sure which I want to go with which is why I’m posting…. so which do you think I should go with?
someone asked for details on the Zuko scar I did the other night. Luckily, I took a million photos including these two close up shots. :]
Most the the details come from the texture, which is a combination of liquid latex and tissue. After that, I add the color; darker in the ridges, lighter where it comes forward. Then I made it darker toward my eye and blended the outer edges into my skintone(though, not very well since this was a rush “just for fun” job). Set it all with powder at the end and ta-da you get to go on a life changing adventure to find your honor!
the cool thing about my method of doing this is that the scar is now reusable. :]

I was bored so I made myself girl Zuko.
Tried to look angry

and then I tried on a wig but I somehow looked like Azula??

Alright, I laughed
“ Honor is an abstract concept entailing a perceived quality of worthiness and respectability that affects both the social standing and the self-evaluation of an individual or corporate body such as a family, school, regiment or nation. ”
Zuko judging your blog
Yes, excuse me but, I need this.
Uncle: “I was never angry with you. I was sad, because I was afraid you’d lost your way.”
We need to learn to forgive like Uncle Iroh.
